Rueda de Casino Switch beinhaltet mehrere Rollenwechsel der Tanzenden innerhalb eines Liedes. So werden Leader zu Followern und Follower zu Leadern. Diese Rollenwechsel können in unterschiedlichen Varianten erfolgen.

"Cruzada" ist eine Rueda-Struktur, bei der jedes zweite Paar um einen Takt versetzt ist. Es tanzt also die eine Hälfte der Paare ganz normal auf 1, während die andere Hälfte auf 5 tanzt.

Die Idee hier: Nachdem mit jedem Switch Kommando die Rueda um 4 Taktschläge verschoben wird, entsteht automatisch die Cruzada-Struktur, wenn nur die Hälfte der Paare switcht. In dieser Struktur sind also sowohl switch-freudige Rueder@s als auch jene willkommen, die sich noch gar nicht mit der Welt des Switch auseinandergesetzt haben.

Voraussetzungen: Regelmäßiger Besuch von mind. Rueda Beginner 2, sicher im Takt

“Cruzada” is a Rueda structure in which every second couple is offset by one measure. That means half of the couples dance normally starting on 1, while the other half starts on 5.

The idea here is that since each Switch command shifts the Rueda by four beats, the Cruzada structure automatically emerges when only half of the couples switch. In this structure, both experienced switch dancers and those who have not explored the world of Switch yet are equally welcome!
